Tirk is one of a sprinkling of label's intrinsic to the return of the disco beat to our collective hearts since their emergence in 2004, and as they deliver their third compilation it's clear they want to explore other avenues. Tirk 03 is a bridge between the label's present and future with the disco ink blotted by sojourns through psychedelic rock, proper house music, contorted funk, cavernous dubisms, retro Gallic smoothness and 80s freestyle sounds. Tirk regulars such as Architeq, The Love Supreme and Richard Norris find themselves surrounded by new acts. Norris features prominently with a refix of new singings Molly Wagger complemented by two tracks from his Set Phasers To Stun album as The Time & Space Machine; the Buffalo Springfield leaning psychedelic pop of "After The Goldrush" is delightful. It's the glimpse at what's to come that proves most exciting here, with Sportloto and Son Of Sound impressing in particular. "Will I" from the East End dwelling former coves your senses in a sheen of shimmering piano led twilight house bliss whilst the latter's "Life Under Bridges" delves deep into reverberant 80s freestyle boogie.

"Хлеб, Золото, Акай" - так называется новый альбом Якова Кривицкого - штатного электронщика популярной московской трип - хоп группы Rekevin. Музыкальная деятельность Krivitsky началась в 1989 году, когда он вместе с Александром Мерзляковым, одним из музыкантов "Бурундук Квартета", организовал первую в СССР shoegaze-группу "Velvet and Velvet Dolls". В середине 90-х коллектив распался, и Krivitsky сосредоточился на сольном творчестве. В его основу легло увлечение киномузыкой 60-х годов, лаунж-кором и easy listening. В мае 2000 года московским лейблом "Exotica Lights" был издан дебютный альбом Krivitsky <Голова без всадника>, а через полгода второй альбом <Cafe-Automat>. При создании всех своих композиций Krivitsky активно использует свою коллекцию старых аналоговых советских синтезаторов. <Они конструктивно ближе к живым инструментам, чем современные цифровые приборы. А советские синтезаторы ещё хороши тем, что невозможно найти два абсолютно одинаковых по звучанию инструмента>. В настоящее время в распоряжении музыканта находится несколько советских синтезаторов: <Поливокс>,<Ритм-2>, <Аэлита>, <Алиса>, несколько синтезаторов производства ГДР (Vermona) и винтажные инструменты западного производства: Minimoog, Rhodes Piano, Arp String Ensemble, Roland system 100. Новый альбом Krivitsky выходит исключительно на виниле.
